Bromine is used as the chlorine into swimming pools and Spas because it is a disinfectant. However if there is too much brome in water it is dangerous for health ( eyes irritation ). So we control daily the brome level in water.
Bromine is more steady than chlorine so it is an excellent disinfectant for swimming pools.
