SPECTROPHOTOMETRY

Analysis method oftenly used in water analysis.
We need to realize a coloured reaction corresponding to the searched element.
The principle of spectrophotometry is based upon the fact that all coloured solution is crossed by a luminous beam; the quantity of absorbed light is proportional to the concentration of the composed coloured searched ( law of Beer-Lambert).
This technique allowed development of numerous apparatus called "spectrophotometers".
